Former Al Ahly and Egypt boss Hossam El-Badry is reportedly set to be named as CS Sfaxien’s new head coach, according to reports
El-Badry last managed Algeria’s ES Setif back in July of last year after he was relieved of his duties with the Egyptian national team.
The 63-year-old had initially agreed on a one-year deal with the Algerian giants until the end of the current season but his stint has ended after just eight games.
The reason for his departure was revealed to be the financial struggles and instability that ES Setif were going through.
Following a four-month layoff, El-Badry is now set for a new destination in his coaching career according to new reports.
CS Sfaxien are said to have already agreed terms with El-Badry as he is reportedly on his way to Tunisia to sign his contract.
The club have had a poor start to the Championship round of the Tunisian Ligue 1 as they are currently sixth in the standings after two games played.
