A fire outbreak in the Nigerian state of Kaduna has destroyed parts of the St. Peter’s Minor Seminary in Kateri.
Some sections of the building, including the kitchen, dormitory, and dining hall were all burnt down.
This was contained in a statement by the Archdiocesan Chancellor of the church, Fr. Christian Emmanuel.
The statement, “Further information will be communicated in due course.”
Kateri has been noted for tragic incidents such as bandits’ attacks, killings and in most cases, demands for ransom.
