Nigeria, the most populous Black nation in the world is set for the inauguration of the winner of the February 25 Presidential Election and the former Lagos State Governor, Bola Tinubu as Nigeria’s President for the next four years.
The historic occasion is set to take place at the venue beautifully decorated called Eagle Square in Abuja, Nigeria’s Capital.
Already, there is heavy security at the venue for the auspicious and remarkable event where Bola Tinubu will be sworn in as Nigeria’s next leader after President Muhammadu Buhari’s eight-year administration.
Scores of operatives of the joint security team comprising the Department of State Services, the Nigeria Police Force, the Nigerian Army and other paramilitary agencies were seen at the venue on Sunday evening.
It has been a weekend of activities from Friday with Jummat Prayers and lecture which took place at the National Mosque, Renewed Hope Inauguration Concert, Presidential Inauguration Lecture by former Kenyan President, Uhuru Kenyatta, presidential Inter-Denominational Church service on Sunday and the presidential inauguration banquet/gala night to wrap-up activities.
Some of the world leaders have arrived in the capital city to grace the inauguration such as the Presidents of South Africa Sierra Leone, Ghana, Burundi, Liberia, the Republic of Congo, Ethiopia, the Central Africa Republic, Gabon, the Prime Minister of Morocco, the Vice President of Venezuela and many more.
