Nigerian President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has hailed a “historic moment of collaboration” between Nigeria and Qatar following talks with the Gulf nation’s Emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani on Sunday.
President Tinubu described his visit to Doha as marking a pivotal point in relations between the two countries that paves the way for investment opportunities and mutual growth.
“My visit to Qatar marks a historic moment of collaboration and investment opportunities between Nigeria and Qatar,” Tinubu stated after his meeting with the Emir of Qatar.
The Nigerian leader said he had “fruitful discussions” with Sheikh Tamim that have laid the foundations for cooperation in key areas like education, enterprise, and youth empowerment initiatives.
“Fruitful discussions with His Highness, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, pave the way for mutual growth in education, enterprise, youth empowerment, and more,” he remarked.
President Tinubu said the shared commitment between Nigeria and Qatar to leverage their human capital for greater prosperity is “shining bright.”
