ES Sportsmanagement and Next Gen Foundation have announce the inaugural Ultimate Scouting Tournament in West Africa, taking place in Accra, Ghana, from April 1-2, 2025.
This premier event will bring together 14 elite U19 teams from Ghana, Liberia, Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso, and Togo, showcasing the region’s top young football talent.
Representatives from esteemed European football clubs, including scouts from Spain, Germany, Austria, Sweden, Albania, and Belgium, will attend the tournament to identify emerging stars. This unique opportunity will bridge the gap between West African football and the global stage.
Event co-organizer Edi Schmickl emphasized the tournament’s transformative potential, saying its life changing opportunities.

Schmickl leads the organization alongside Chris Vermeeren and a team of local partners including Augustine Awiah, Ayomah Michael, Dr. Stephen Odonkor, Farado Luchi, and Kelvin Agyeman.
