The Super Eagles of Nigeria arrived in Abidjan on Tuesday dressed in sleek white kaftan robes with vibrant green accents to begin preparations as they seek to claim a fourth AFCON title.
The coordinated monochrome garments made a striking statement, with their traditional kaftan design that incorporated Nigeria’s national colors.
As the players disembarked the plane, their matching outfits made it clear they had come to Côte d’Ivoire with singular purpose and focus on the biggest Football festival in the continent.
Their cohesive look underscored the team’s unity and focus as they embark on their AFCON campaign for their 4th continental title at this year’s tournament
The Super Eagles are one of the powerhouses of African football, having reached the AFCON final six times and secured third place on eight occasions. With stars like Ahmed Musa, Alex Iwobi, Wilfred Ndidi and Victor Osimhen on board, Nigeria is looking primed to make another deep tournament run.

Nigeria has been drawn into Group A alongside host Ivory Coast, Guinea-Bissau and Equatorial Guinea, their first group opponent to face on January 14th.
Head coach Jose Peseiro and his squad will be spending their first week in Abidjan acclimatizing and fine-tuning their preparations.
The team will be hoping to get off to a strong start in their opening match before turning their sights to the knockout stages, trying to channel the winning spirit of the 2013 triumph.
