This comes after ‘A Tribe Called Judah’ raked in over N60 million in less than 48 hours, achieving Becomes Biggest Single Day Gross for 2023.
Within the short term, ‘A Tribe Called Judah’ has achieved five record-breaking feats.

Premiered on December 10, ‘A Tribe Called Judah’ officially graced the cinema screens on Friday, December 15, 2023, making its mark amid the concurrent releases of other Nollywood titles, including ‘Ada Omo Daddy.’
It has become the biggest single day gross for all films released in 2023, as well as the biggest opening for a film released in 2023. The movie has also emerged as the biggest overall film in Nigeria and West Africa, as well as the biggest opening for a Funke Akindele film. Additionally, it has set a new record as the biggest opening of all time for a Nollywood film.
Akindele, who is known for her hit TV series ‘Jenifa’ and movies like ‘Mommy Jane’, ‘Isoken’, and ‘Your Excellency’, has once again proven her mettle in the Nigerian movie industry.
