The management of the prestigious University of Abuja has set an ultimatum for graduates to collect their unclaimed original academic certificates, calling all alumni from 1995 to come for their documents “before Wednesday, November 15, 2023”.
The collection of unclaimed original academic certificates is a critical matter that necessitates immediate attention.
With November 15th as the deadline, the university is urging its graduates to promptly come forward and claim their documents.
In a statement signed by its student affairs officer, Nurudeen Lawal, on Monday, the institution stated: “All alumni of the University of Abuja who have not collected their NYSC exemption letters or certificates from 1995 to date are advised to do so from the Students’ Affairs Office, Mini Campus, Gwagwalada, before Wednesday, 15th November 2023, with a valid identification. Failure to collect them before or on the above date [they] will have to go to the NYSC headquarters for collection.”
The deadline of November 15th has been set to provide ample time for graduates to organise their schedules and make the necessary arrangements to retrieve their certificates.
